The currency calculator converts the amount you enter into the currency you choose at the European Central Bank (ECB) reference rate on the selected date. The lev is converted at the fixed rate of 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN.

The ECB publishes its reference rates every working day at around 16:00 CET (17:00 Bulgarian time). Until the rate for the day is published, and on days without a published rate, the last published rate is used.
